I am aware we all know someone who has struggled with mental health, know someone who has died and only had 3 people at the funeral, lost work... I am still here!!! I am working on a bird bath and a Roman style mosaic in stone of a hare. I have made a house number plaque, grouted my students mosaic pieces and hope to be reunited with them soon, and to reunite the mosaic pieces with my creative students!! Stay well, stay safe.
Autumn 2019 is set for a series of mosaic workshops. Two will be with the wonderful therapy group 'Imagine' based in Stroud. Two children's workshops and two adult workshops at The Subscription Rooms, Stroud. Dates and details will be posted soon! Contact me to express an interest to reserve a place.
During December 2018 at The Stroud Subscription Rooms, Stroud my husband Ray Hedger and I held an exhibition Together - we raised £300 pounds for The Children's Leukaemia Association - we thank everyone for their generous donations.
During Summer 2016 I had the privilige of working with SoMAC as part of the Art in the City Project in Gloucester. I worked with an amazing group called Increase The Peace - ITP. With them I started a large Roman Style Mosaic based on the History of Gloucester. It is now back in my studio where I am currently completing the mosaic ready for installation in the Spring of 2017.
