Colouring the Darkness

Gaining resilience and strength through the prism of colour and light in the dark time of the year.
A supportive, weekly group which combines free and playful expression with a nurturing and nourishing quality.
Working with a variety of methods, creativity can encompass feelings, responses, reactions and even emotions through the use of forms, colours, and textures. Art can encapsulate and represent this in the most surprising, often small, and special ways.
Facilitated artistic exercises are combined with shared reflections on the creative process, in a supportive, non-judgemental space.
£270 (cons. £250) for 9 sessions,
All materials are included. No previous artistic experience is required.

School Project 2013 with Cotswold Care Hospice and Minchinhampton Primary School. Patients and Pupils worked together to create a collage based on the Value - Courage and element - Water. Monet was the inspiration for water and Rousseau for courage, symbolised by the animals of the jungle. The two were brought together in one finished collage piece.
